What’s the difference between someone that is successful vs. someone that’s not?
I’ve spent years looking at and studying successful people, anywhere from people like Richard Branson to the local successful plumbing business owner. Entrepreneurs from all walks of life.
And what I found is the high achievers all think and act in a very different way. They actually have different habits.
The 3 reasons that hold people back goes like this:
#1 – They don’t think they can do… a lot of things.
They have beliefs that limit their own potential. Whether it’s to learn a new skill or perform at some level. And the worst part is they may not even know it until they see an article like this or they hear it from someone else or realize themselves. And if they don’t want to believe it then they’ll keep holding onto those beliefs. People believe what they want to believe.

The High Achiever: Thinks they can achieve anything they set their mind to. “Whether you think you can or think you can’t – You are right.” – Henry Ford
#2 – they either think they know it all, or they spend years in trial and error.
The right skills and knowledge are crucial to any process. If you have a goal in mind, there are certain things you need to learn to be able to achieve that. And the best way to do that is to look at someone else who has done it and look at what they have done to get that and how they did it.

The High Achiever: In today’s rapidly changing technology you need to stay up today. “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change” – Stephen Hawking
#3 – they don’t take action.
And finally, you can have the right mindset, you can have the right education but if you don’t implement what you know, then you’re not going to get anywhere. Most people spend their lives dreaming, thinking, and wondering… and before they know it years have passed and nothing has been done.

The High Achiever: The best way to learn something is by doing it. Go for progress and not perfection. “Action is the foundational key to all success” – Pablo Picasso
Remember, regardless of what you hear people say or see, there is no such thing as failure… only feedback. If you work on these 3 areas, these 3 skills will change your life. Your mindset, obtaining the right knowledge, and most importantly taking action. This is called The MEA Method.
